So where should one start . . .
All photos where taking from my cell phone with no flash.Ok I got home from San Fran. yesterday without any problems. Photos off the balcony of my cousins place in SF, and of the way home on the grapevine. The schools she attends SFSU is behind those tall buildings. Thats the good.
I was out with my brother and his friends. One of my brother friend just installed a new FP red turbo in his evo, and want to do a few runs, I said sure my car is untuned and and im only running 9lbs to make sure i dont fudge up anything, His car has been tuned and is running 22lbs. So his lives out in the sticks on a private road that his parents paved and there the only house on the rode thats about 3 miles before you can get to a street so, we do a few rolling runs. for the first 3 runs I missed 3rd, the forth run I missed 4th. But during all the misses we where neck to neck before i would miss. The last run I made it into 4th but my car felt like it had no power like the clutch was slipping or hose had a leak. I knew the clucth could not be slipping because it a triple plate os giken. I looked at my cluster and the water temp was good, so no over heating/ blown head gasket, I looked at the oil pressure and it was at ZERO, Crap. When I pulled over to the street corner I could here a noise. Turned off he car and popped the hood. Nothing, so i checked the oil. looked clean and no milkyness. Check under the car for leaks, Nothing. Fuel pressure gauge was still at 40, so thats good. I had my lil brother start the car, and I immediately had his turn it off. All I heard was click click click . . . . . So my conclusion is I spun a rod bearing. Later this week I will pull the plenum and valve covers to make sure I didnt drop a valve. After that checks out good, I will do a compression test, After that checks out good. I will pull the motor to replace the rods and main bearings.
Im kind of bummed but not to much because my new motor will be done in 6 weeks and this one was coming out any ways, But now much cousin is bummed because this was his motor. But it better this way, he can get new bearings and a new crank installed. What do you think it could be?
Thats the bad.
So i had a Just-in Case kit in my car that has a tow rope. Since my brother friends house is hard to find, we towed my car to a more populated area. I called AAA and the sent a tow flat bed tow truck. The tow truck gets my car on with no problem. He has my car tilted back and he starts to tilt his truck bed forward. When he has the bed just about parallel whith his bed he looks for the tow hooks, then the line SNAPS and my car begins to roll back. I put my hands up to try and hold it but no luck, and my brother and friend had left already. As i moved out of the way I watched my car slide off the trailer and onto the ground. I have pictures of the car as it was getting on the trail and after it fell. The only visual damn is one of my wheels got curb, and the paint of the pass side rocker panel is scratched. As my car is half way on the trailer and agianst the curb he trys to pull away but drags my car about 13 ft before stopping. He drags the wood that he used to get my car up on the trailer. and my rear driver side bumper was dragged as well.
